This is a beautiful morning picture I took of home Nyinyikay. In Nyinyikay we have 8 houses, as you can see the yellow house is for my grandmothers parents building, it has three bed rooms.
We have lots of dogs to protect us from wild animals, they are too smart to smell and to hear from far away.
We have two Toyotas for me & my family to go hunting and shopping, for shopping we travel to Gove to get some ngatha (food).
In this picture is my grandmothers little brother Tony Wuduku the one who is cutting the miyapunu, and my big brother Buwada.
In miyapunu season all the mans goes out to hunting to get some all kinds of sea food. Us the ladies go with them to get dropped on their way, Me & my family get some oysters, its just across the sea where the mountains are.
My favourite part of the land is when the Djapana (sunset) shows up, I would go down the beach and take some beautiful pictures of the sunset.
My great great grandmother used to tell me a story when I was a little girl, about a two dingos lives in the mountain.
As you can see the big mountain across the sea that is the place where the two spiritual dingos lives, my ancestors named them Waniyalangu & Madingga.
The Banana farm was created by my Nana her name is Megan Ganambarr, she’s my nanna’s big sister so I call her my nanna to.
Nana Megan lived in Nyinyikay for many years now, Megan Created the farm when I was a baby, she planed many kinds of fruits to keep us healthy & strong
